Birthday Bash Day 2: Elizabeth Reyes

Hey everybody! Welcome to Day 2 of my bookish birthday bash! If you don't know I turn 16 on February 20th and it's a big day for me.

Today I'd like to give a very warm welcome to Elizabeth Reyes!
Elizabeth Reyes
Elizabeth is an amazing author who is mostly self-published but will have her first traditionally published book, Desert Heat, out in May! Some of her books are The Moreno Brother series, 5th Street series, her Fate series, and Desert Heat (May 2014).
Interview

Tell us a little about you and your books!

Alpha males and family. I love writing about a group of friends, family and how  protective they are for each other. Each one of my stories is completely different but in each you'll always find the underlying  storyline of fierce protectiveness and lots of love any loyalty to one another. Another thing I firmly believe is that everything happens for a reason and this also is often found in my stories like in my series Fate. But you can also find the theme in my other stories.
How do you feel going from being self-published to traditional publishing?
Excited! The people over at Simon & Schuster/Atria  have been wonderful walking me through this new process for me. I was a little nervous at first but so far everything has gone smoothly and I'm so looking forward to the release.
What is your favorite thing about writing?
Creating the story. My muse comes out with the most unexpected things sometimes that even catch me by surprise. So it's very excited as the story comes together and the characters seem to write their own stories.
Something you hate?
I wouldn't say hate but I'm very emotional when it comes to my characters and I get sad sometimes even cry when I finish a series. =(
If you could have any wish granted when it comes to your writing what would it be?
That I could write faster. I have SO many stories dying to be written in my head. I wish I could get them all down faster.
Who is your favorite male character from a book that is not yours?
Oh Wow. Too many. Simon from Lori Foster's Simon Says, Lucas from Tammara Webbers Easy and Jamie McGuire's Travis Maddox just to name a few.

Now on to some quick questions!
