Synopsis:
"Desperate to break free…
I've spent my entire life under my father’s thumb, but now I'm finally free to make my own choices. When my roommate dragged me to my first college party, I met Finn Coram and my life turned inside out. He knows how to break the rules and is everything I never knew I wanted. A Marine by day and surfer by night, he pushes me away even as our attraction brings us closer. Now I am finally free to do whatever I want. I know what I want. I choose Finn.
Trying to play by the rules...
I always follow orders. My job, my life, depends on it. I thought this job would be easy, all the rules were made crystal clear, but when I met Carrie Wallington, everything got muddy. She's a rule I know I shouldn't break, but damn if I don’t inch closer to the breaking point each time I see her. I’m ready to step out of line. And even worse? I’m living a lie. They say the truth will set you free, but in my case…
The truth will cost me everything."
This book is hands-down amazing and one story full of figuring out whether the truth is worth sharing.

I adore the book so much. The characters touched my heart and I just want to read more and more about them. I wish the story didn't end and I'm kind of upset that it did, but overall I would recommend this to many people.
"She was everything I would have hoped for in a girlfriend, and then some. Kind. Giving. Adventurous. Never afraid to try something new. And I wasn't allowed to have her."
One of the main characters in this book is Carrie, daughter of a highly overprotective senator father. She is everything that makes me gain so much faith for humanity. She may be rich with her father putting tons and tons of money into her bank account but she only uses what she needs and gives the rest away, same for all her other things. She's so kind and she is so giving. Carrie is one of those characters that inspire you to be a better person and you wish that more people were like her. Absolutely amazing character, she has flaws and she's vulnerable which brings her down to a earthly level rather than a godly level.

Finn is a very....HOT guy. He's a marine (umm, DM me on Twitter please!), he's kind, and he takes care of the people he loves. Yet he screws up at times which makes him much more realistic. He is also an amazing character and I just fell in love with him. His romantic side really came out in a couple of parts in this book and...*swoon*. Pretty please DM me!
"Carrie...I need to back away. Now. Or you'll be mine in more ways than you can handle. Right here. Right now. In front of everyone."
He is definitely a guy though and he can even be a bad boy at times with that surf board and motorcycle. Damn man, why are you so irresistible  Jen, you are setting the standards too high for real guys. All the guys hate you authors for that! Don't worry though, us girls are all over this thing!
"If she kept looking at me as if I owned the sun, I would die trying."
The romance in this book just makes you want to fan yourself. I loved every minute of it! The chemistry is this book was boiling and it had to be my favorite part. You could really see the attraction between this couple, but who wouldn't think that Finn's attractive right? Right?

The only thing that I would have to say I had a problem was the speed of the book at the beginning. It went faster than I would have liked and it kind of turned me off to the book at first but as I kept reading, the book improved immensely!

I really need to get my hands on the second book and Jen if you are up to giving me a copy to review then I would worship you even more then I already do! ....Okay yeah I'm kissing up to her, but I really want book 2! The book left off on a cliffhanger and I think I know what happens. I need to know and I can't wait until 2014 unless it's January.

If you are looking for a good read, then DEFINITELY  read this. I HIGHLY recommend it. This is a book that should be in the hands of every reader out there, it's just THAT good.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars!!
